The salaries of these elected officials be established at a comparable level with other Indiana cities of similar <br />size. <br />2. MacMillan <br />President <br />CMM:mm <br />This being the time heretofore set for public hearing on the above Ordinance, proponents and opponents were given an <br />opportunity to be heard thereon. <br />Speaking in favor of the above Ordinance were the following: Richard A. Kirkman, 1118 Queen Street; Ronald Ormsby, <br />611 North Cushing Street; Miss Virginia Guthrie, South Bend Civic Planning Association: Speaking against the <br />proposed Ordinance were the following: John Wise, 1126 Victory Avenue; Howard Goodhew, 1709 Kessler Boulevard; <br />Bert Handwork, 1438'East Madison; Mrs. Leroy Allen, 125 West Marion,-Street; Joseph Kolecki, 2220 Kemble Street; <br />Rpbert Mahowald, McKinley Avenue; Michael Nyikos, 114 Marquette, Robert Meiszberg, 1774 Prairie Avenue and Council <br />Glass. Councilmen Krueper, Kroll and Tellson spoke in favor of the Ordinanc <br />Councilman Kroll moved for a five minute recess. Councilman Glass seconded the motion. Motion carried and the <br />Committee of the Whole Meeting recessed at 9:03 P.M. The Meeting reconvened at 9:18 P.M. <br />Councilman made a motion that the Ordinance go to the Council as favorable. Councilman Muszynski seconded the <br />motion. Motion carried. <br />There being no further business to come before the Committee of the Whole, Councilman Muszynski made a motion to <br />adjourn.
