The meeting wag called to order by Councilman T. W. Lehman, Chairman, who presided. <br />ORDINANCE <br />AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING TO AND BRINGING WITHIN THE CITY LIMITS <br />OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, CERTAIN LANDS (1.4 acres on Rose Street) <br />This being the time heretofore set for public hearing on the above Ordinance, proponents and opponents were given <br />an opportunity to be heard thereon. Speaking against the proposed Ordinance was James Brattina, the owner of the <br />subject property. <br />Councilman Coleman made a motion that the Ordinance go to the,Council as favorable. Councilman Kroll seconded the <br />motion. Motion carried. <br />ORDINANCE <br />AN ORDINANCE FOR ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATIONS IN THE REDEVELOPMENT <br />DISTRICT CAPITAL FUND - $195,789.76. <br />This being the time heretofore set for public hearing on the above Ordinance, proponents and opponents were given an <br />opportunity to be heard thereon. The following were heard: Miss Virginia Guthrie, Executive Secretary of the <br />South Bend Civic Planning Association;, Mr. Henry Sucher, Director of Redevelopment and Ray Andrysiak, City Engineer, <br />Councilman Tellson made a motion that the Ordinance go to the Council as favorable. Councilman Kroll seconded the <br />motion. Motion carried. <br />ORDINANCE <br />AN ORDINANCE FOR ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATIONS IN THE ELECTRICAL <br />DEPARTMENT FUND - $570.00 <br />This being the time heretofore set for public hearing on the above Ordinance, proponents and opponents were given an <br />opportunity to be heard thereon.
