COMMUNICATION FROM MAYOR BRUGGNER To the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana: I, the undersigned, Frank J. Bruggner, Mayor of the City of South Bend, Indiana, as required by Chapter 107 of the Acts of 1959., hereby fix the maximum salaries for the herein named appointed officers and employees of the City of South Bend, Indiana, beginning January 1, 1962, and continuing thereafter until duly changed, and request that such maximum salaries be approved by the Common Council. Respectfully submitted this 26 day of June, 1961. /s/ Frank J. Bruggner Frank J. ORDINANCE AN ORDINANCE FIXING MAXIMUM SALARIES OF APPOINTED OFFICERS AND EMPLOYEES OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, FOR THE YEAR 1962 The Ordinance was given first reading.by title. Motion by Councilman Allen, seconded by Councilman Lehman, that the Ordinance be ORDINANCE set for public Hearing on July 10, 1961. Motion carried. AN ORDINANCE CREATING AN OFFICIAL BUILDING CODE FOR THE CIVIL CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA The Ordinance was given first reading by title. Councilman-Allen made a motion that the further reading of this Ordinance be waived and that the Clerk make available to interested parties copies of the same at her office. Councilman Lehman seconded the motion. Motion carried. There being no further business to come before the Council, Councilman Muszynski made a motion to adjourn.
