_9 ORT,.OF BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS AND SAFETY <br />To the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana: June 26, 1961 <br />Gentlemen: <br />With reference to your Directive dated June 13, 1961 concerning Councilman Muszynski's complaint that inter -city <br />trucks are still using Olive Street even though Sample Street is now completed, the Board of Public Works and Safety <br />considered this matter at its regular meeting of June 19, 1961. <br />The matter was referred to the Police Department for investigation and report and the Department's findings are as <br />follows: <br />After investigation on Olive Street a total of 16 trucks were checked, 15 trucks were making city deliveries, one <br />truck was issued a ticket for being on Truck Route. <br />If additional information is desired concerning the check points made in connection with this matter, officers' repor <br />will be available in the Office of the Board of Public Works and Safety. <br />AJS:ES <br />Respectfully submitted, <br />/s/ Anthony J.
