COMMITTEE OF THE WHOLE MEETING <br />ORDINANCE <br />SEPTEMBER 27, 1960 <br />AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING TO AND BRINGING WITHIN THE CITY LIMITS OF <br />SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, CERTAIN LANDS (Land near Highland Cemetery) <br />255 <br />This being the time heretofore set for public hearing on the above Ordinance, proponents and opponents were given <br />an opportunity to be heard. Councilman Muszynski made a motion that the Ordinance go to the Council as favorable. <br />Councilman Ladewski seconded the motion. Motion carried. <br />ORDINANCE <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING AND SUPPLEMENTING ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 3702, <br />AS HERETOFORE AMENDED AND SUPPLEMENTED (2200 Block Portage) <br />This being the time heretofore set for public hearing on the above Ordinance, proponents and opponents were given <br />an opportunity to be heard. Councilman Coleman made a motion that the Ordinance be referred back to the City <br />Plan Commission for further study. Councilman Kroll seconded the motion. Motion carried. <br />ORDINANCE <br />AN ORDINANCE FOR ADDITONAL APPROPRIATIONS IN THE 1959 GENERAL <br />STREET IMPROVEMENT FUND, $5,494.31. <br />This being the time heretofore set for public hearing on the above Ordinance, proponents and opponents were given an <br />opportunity to be heard. Councilman Ladewski made a motion that the Ordinance go to the Council as favorable. <br />ORDINANCE <br />AN ORDINANCE FOR ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATIONS IN STREET DEPARTMENT, <br />SANITATION DEPARTMENT; CITY JUDGE, POLICE DEPARTMENT, AND WEIGHTS <br />AND MEASURES IN THE AMOUNT OF $19,984.00 <br />This being the time herefore set for public hearing on the above Ordinance, proponents and opponents were given an <br />opportunity to be heard. Councilman Kroll made a motion that the Ordinance go to the Council as favorable. Council- <br />man Muszynski seconded the motion. Motion carried. <br />There being no further business to come before the Committee of the Whole, Councilman Kroll made a motion to adjourn, <br />Councilman Allen seconded the motion.
