is highly controversial. Some experts believe that it is a waste of money and all of the elms will eventually die <br />anyway. There are some that claim the loss can be reduced to approximately three per cent of the total number per <br />year. The <br />attention and interest shown was most gratifying, and certainly rare in this hurried world of ours. I'm also happy <br />to say they demonstrated that courtesy is not yet completely passe'. <br />My sincere thanks to these people - and to the Department of Public Recreation for making it possible for us to use <br />the equipment. <br />Very truly yours, <br />/s/ Mrs. T. Jefferson and 32nd Street), Respectfully report that they have examined the matter and <br />that in their opinion IT SHOULD BE set over until the next regular meeting September 26th. <br />/s/ T, W.
