REGULAR MEETING <br />ORDINANCE 28 -60`. <br />AN ORDINANCE APPROVING A CONTRACT BETWEEN THE <br />SOUTH BEND CITY WATER WORKS AND INTERNATIONAL <br />HARVESTER COMPANY FOR THE PURCHASE OF ONE TWO*: <br />TON DUMP TRUCK FOR THE SUM OF $3,179.79 <br />229 <br />The Ordinance was given first reading by title and second reading in full. Councilman Coleman <br />made a motion for suspension of the rules. Councilman Allen seconded the motion, Motion <br />carried by a roll call vote of 9 ayes, 0 nays. The Ordinance was then given third reading and <br />passed by a roll call vote of 9 ayes and 0 nays. <br />ORDINANCE,FIRST AND SECOND READING <br />AN ORDINANCE APPROVING AN AGREEMENT BETWEEN <br />THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA AND INDIANA <br />AND MICHIGAN ELECTRIC COMPANY <br />The Ordinance was given first reading by title and second reading in full. Councilman Lehman <br />made a motion that the Ordinance be set for Public Hearing on August 8,1960. Councilman Coleman <br />seconded the motion. Motion carried. <br />NEW BUSINESS <br />Councilman Muszynski moved that a special meeting of the Council be held on Monday, August 1st <br />in order to comply with the dates the State Board of Accounts has set for hearing the Budget. <br />Councilman Tellson seconded the motion. Motion carried, and a call for a special meeting will <br />be sent out. <br />Councilman L.adewski stated that the intersection of Edison and South Bend Avenue was a busy <br />one and that a traffic signal or some other traffic control device should be installed. He <br />moved that this be referred to the Traffic Engineer for study and report. Councilman Tellson <br />seconded the motion. Motion carried. <br />There being no further business to come before the Council, Councilman Tellson made a motion <br />to adjourn. Councilman Coleman seconded the motion.
