I COM153NICATIONS July 22, 1960 The Honorable Common Council City of South Bend South Bend, Indiana lGentlemen: Submitted herewith is the recommended Six -Year Capital Improvement Program for 1961 -1966 for the City of South Bend. This report is submitted in c6mpliance with Chapter 174, Section 35, Sub - i Section 4, of the Acts of the General Assembly of 1947. This new program includes projects submitted by all municipal departments of the City of South Bend including the Schobl City of South Bend. On 21 July 1960 the Planning Commission accepted a committee report recommending the adoption of the program and after thorough consideration unanimously recommended it favorable to the Council for adoption by ordinance. Motion carried. petition was received from Ira. and Opal Kendall to rezone land at 710 W. Washington Street. Councilman Lehman made a motion that the petition be referred to the City Planning Commission. ouncilman Ladewski seconded the motion. Motion carried.
