Councilman Glass made a motion that the petition be referred to the City Planning Commission. Councilman Allen seconded the motion. Motion carried. Petition to annex 100.7 acres of land to the City of South Bend (Ireland and Miami) Councilman Muszynski made a motion that the petition be referred to the City Planning Commission. REPORT OF CITY PLANNING COMMISSION The Honorable Common Council City of South Bend South Bend, Indiana Gentlemen: June 8, 1960 The attached petition of Joseph Lee to rezone Lot Numbered One Hundred Twenty (120) in,Hartman and Miller's Addi- tion to the City of South Bend, Indiana, commonly known as 1215 South Bend Avenue, from "B" Residential Use to "C" Commercial Use was legally advertised on May 23, 1960 and given public hearing under date of June 2, 1960. The following action was taken: After due consideration the Commission found that the proposed zoning would result in spot zoning. It was therefore duly moved, seconded, and unanimously carried that the petition be recommended unfavorably to the Common Council. RLH /mah Attach.
