MINUTES Report of Committee on Minutes To the Common Council of the City of South Bend: Your Committee on the inspection and supervision of the minutes would respectfully report that they have inspected th minutes of the previous meeting of the Council and found them correct. They therefore recommend that the same be f approved. T. W. Lehman Joseph T. Kroll Committee Albert Tellson South Bend, Ind., February 8, 1960 Minutes of Meeting of January 25, 1960. Councilman Allen made a motion that the report be accepted and placed on file. Councilman Muszynski seconded the motion. Motion carried. PETITION Petition of Hartman Builders, Inc., to rezone land at Ryer and Lincolnway West. Councilman Coleman made a motion that the petition be referred to the City Planning Commission. Councilman Krueper seconded the motion. Motion carried. PETITION Petition of Place and Company to zone recently annexed land at Miami and Ireland. Councilman Glass made a motion that the petition be referred to the City Planning Commission. Councilman Allen seconded the motion. Motion carried. PETITION Petition of Industrial Foundation, Inc., to rezone land in Northwest Section of City -- -North of Keller Street. Councilman Muszynski made a motion that the petition be referred to the City Planning Commission. Councilman Lehman seconded the motion. Motion carried. REPORT OF BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS AND.SAFETY To the Common Council South Bend, Indiana Gentlemen: February 4, 1960 Your directive to the City Attorney to appropriate $900.00 for repairs for painting of the Council Chambers was referred to my office for further information. In my 1960 budget, I have earmarked at this time the sum of $7000.00 in Repairs of Buildings and Structures which I can use part of to do the necessary repairs. REPORT OF ORDINANCE COMMITTEE To the Common Council of South Bend, Indiana: Your Committee on Ordinance, to which was referred Ordinance No. - - -- submits the following report Your Committee met on Monday, February 1, 1960 and after discussion of said ordinance with a representative of the City's Electrical Inspection Bureau recommends that said ordinance be amended as follows: That the following paragraph be designated as Section 19 of said ordinance "Whenever the word approved is mentioned in this ordinance, such word shall mean approval by the Chief Electrical Inspector of the City of South Bend." ly.
