SPECIAL MEETING OF THE COMMON COUNCIL FEBRUARY 2, 1960 Be it remembered that the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana, met in Special Session in the Council Chambers, City Hall, on Tuesday, February 2, 1960, at 7:55 P.M. . , with all members present. The meeting was called to order by.President Joseph T. Kroll, who presided. The Clerk then read the Call for the Special Meeting. STATE OF INDIANA CALL FOR SPECIAL MEETING COUNTY OF ST. JOSEPH SS: CITY OF SOUTH BEND To the President and Members of the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana: Gentlemen: You are hereby notified that under and by virtue of the authority vested in me by law as Mayor of the City of South Bend, In the State of Indiana, a Special Meeting of the Common Council of said City is hereby called to meet in the Council Chambers in the City Hall, at the hour of 7:30 P.M., on Tu-esday3,,,February 2, 1960, for the purpose of the following: TO APPOINT A MEMBER OF THE BOARD OF THE BUILDING AUTHORITY TRUSTEES The Chief of Police or any member of the Police force is hereby directed to forthwith serve a copy of this notice on each and every member of the Common Council and make due return of such service of said Special Meeting. Fletcher (Mother-in-Law of J. Chester Allen) Isl Sgt. C. KolUer Member of the South Bend Police Department Councilman Muszynski made a motion that the Call for Special Meeting be accepted and placed on file. Councilman Allen seconded the motion. Motion carried. .ROLL CALL: PRESENT: Councilmen I . (roll, Allen, Ladewski, Tellson; Coleman, Glass, Krueper, Lehman and Muszynski. ABSENT: None. President Kroll announced that the purpose of the meeting was to appoint a member to the Board of Trustees of the St. Joseph County-South Bend Building Authority. Councilman Allen nominated Arthur Shidler. Councilman Muszynski seconded the motion. Councilman Coleman moved that the nominations be closed. Councilman Krueper seconded the motion. Motion carried. The Clerk was directed to cast a unanimous ballat for Arthur Shidler as a Member of the Board of Trustees of the St.
