"C" Commercial Use and "D" Height and Area District was legally advertised on November 23, 1959 and given public
hearing under date of December 3, 1959. The following action was taken:
After due consideration the Commission found that no need for commercial use of subject property had
been demonstrated, that the best use of the land is residential, that the use of the surrounding land
is predominantly residential, and that the best interests of the City and the neighborhood would be
served by residential use of subject property. It was therefore duly moved, seconded and carried that
the petition be recommended unfavorably to the Common Council.
