REGULAR MEETING MAY 11, 1959 <br />Be it remembered that the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana, met in Regular Session in the Council <br />Chambers of the City Hall on Monday, May 11, 1959, at 8 :07 P.M., with all members present except Councilman <br />Muszynski. The meeting was called to order by President Stanley C. Korpal, who presided. <br />ROLL CALL <br />PRESENT: Councilmen Korpal, Erhardt, Tellson, Christman, Kroll, Glass, Hahn and Erler. <br />ABSENT: Councilman Muszynski. <br />MINUTES: <br />Report of Committee on Minutes <br />To the Common Council of the City of South Bend: <br />Your Committee on the inspection and supervision of the minutes, would respectfully report that they have inspected <br />the minutes of the previous meeting of the Council and found them correct. Councilman Kroll seconded the motion. <br />Motion carried. <br />REPORT OF CITY PLANNING COMMISSION <br />The Honorable Common Council <br />City of South Bend <br />South Bend, Indiana <br />Gentlemen: <br />May 11, 1959 <br />The attached petition of William P. and Daniel C. Kraft to rezone land located on the north side of Ewing Avenue <br />between Franklin Street and William Street, as follows: Lots Numbered 302 (419 W. Ewing Avenue) and 303 (415 W. <br />Ewing Avenue) as shown on the Citizens Home Corporation Re -Plat, an addition to the City of South Bend, Indiana, <br />from "B" Residential Use and "A" Height and Area District to tPD: Light Industrial Use and "E" Height and Area <br />District was legally advertised on April 27, 1959 and given public hearing on May 7, 1959. The following action <br />was taken: <br />After due consideration the Commission found that: <br />1. The property to the sourth, to the east, and to the north of subject property was zoned <br />light industrial. <br />2.
