<br />ITS BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS AND SAFETY, AND NORTHERN INDIANA TRANSIT, INC., ITS SUCCESSORS AND ASSIGNS, WHICH SAID

<br />ORDINANCE, FIRST AND SECOND READING
<br />AN ORDINANCE TRANSFERRING FROM CITY PLAN COMMISSION ACCOUNT NO. 12 - TEMPORARY HELP,
<br />$475.00 TO CITY PLAN COMMISSION ACCOUNT NO. 11 - SERVICES PERSONAL, ALL OF THE BUDGET
<br />FOR THE YEAR 1958 OF THE CIVIL CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, AND DECLARING AN EXTRAORDINARY
<br />EMERGENCY.
<br />The Ordinance was given first reading by title and second reading in full. Councilman Carr made a motion that the
<br />Ordinance be set for public hearing on February 10, 1958. Councilman Hahn seconded the motion. Motion carried.
<br />OLD BUSINESS
<br />Councilman Kroll made a motion that the City Plan Commission report at the next meeting of the Council, February 10,
<br />1958, as to the Status of the Blenke petition for annexation. Councilman Muszynski seconded the motion. Motion
<br />carried.
<br />Councilman Muszynski asked that the Board of Public Works and Safety contact the Railroad regarding a 24 minute
<br />delay in switching, on Saturday, January 25, in the evening, and also on Sunday, January 26, at 9 »00 A.M., a delay
<br />of 19 minutes. These delays were at the Ford Street Crossing.
<br />Councilman Kroll asked that a check be made as to the one hour delay at the Michigan Central Crossing at Washington
<br />and College Street. The matter is to be referred to the Board of Public Works and Safety.
