SPECIAL MEETING MAY 25, 1971 The Common Council of the City of South Bend met in the Council Chambers in the County -City Build- ing on the 25th day of May, 1971, at the hour of 8:10 P.M., in "Special Meeting" in accordance with the rules of the Council. The meeting was called to order by Robert O. Laven, President of the Council, who presided. On call of the roll, the members of the Council were shown to be present or absent as follows: PRESENT: Councilmen Laven, Allen, Reinke, Craven, Grounds, Szymkowiak, Palmer and Zielinski ABSENT: Councilman Wise The Presiding Officer, Robert.0. Laven, Council President, asked the City Clerk to read the fol- lowing notice of special meeting: TO THE MEMBERS OF THE COMMON COUNCIL: NOTICE OF SPECIAL MEETING OF THE COMMON COUNCIL You are hereby notified that there will be a "Special Meeting" of the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana, on the 25th day of May, 1971, at 8:00 o'clock P.M., local time, in the Council Chambers, County City Building, for the purpose of: Reading for the 3rd time: AN ORDINANCE CONCERNING THE CONSTRUCTION OF ADDITIONS AND IMPROVEMENTS TO THE SEWAGE WORKS OWNED AND OPERATED BY THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, THE ISSUANCE OF ADDITIONAL REVENUE BONDS TO PROVIDE THE COST THEREOF, THE COLLECTION, SEGREGATION AND DISTRIBUTION OF THE REVENUES OF SAID WORKS, THE SAFEGUARDING OF THE INTERESTS OF THE HOLDERS OF SAID BONDS, AND OTHER MATTERS CONNECTED THEREWITH and for conducting a public hearing thereon and for taking final action on said Ordinance.
