COMMITTEE OF THE WHOLE MEETING MAY 24, 1971 <br />COMMITTEE OF THE WHOLE MEETING (Continued) <br />Councilman Szymkowiak expressed concern that we not create an appropriated money problem in the <br />Sanitation Department in case an emergency may arise in that department. Council President Laven <br />commented that this was a good utilization of unused funds. He asked the questions, "Are we go- <br />ing to allow this trash to remain? Or are we going to go out and help to keep this city clean ?" <br />Councilman Laven made a motion, seconded by Councilman Allen that the ordinance go to the Council <br />as favorable. Motion carried. 8 ayes, 0 nayes, 1 absent (Councilman Wise) <br />There being no further business to come before the Council, Councilman Zielinski made a motion to <br />rise and report to the Council.
