REGULAR MEETING JULY 27, 1970 <br />Be it remembered that the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana, met in the Council <br />Chambers in the County -City Building on Monday, July 27, 1970, at 8:02 p.m. The meeting was <br />called to order by Council Vice - President Gerald Reinke. The invocation was given by Reverend <br />Stanley M. Dodgson, First Baptist Church, 3010 S. Ironwood Drive, South Bend, Indiana. <br />ROLL CALL <br />PRESENT: Councilmen Allen, Reinke, Craven, Grounds, <br />Szymkowiak, Wise, Palmer and Zielinski <br />ABSENT: Council- President Laven <br />Council Vice - President Reinke entertained a motion to resolve the Council into the Committee of <br />the Whole on the state of the City to consider the items listed on the agenda for the consider- <br />ation of the Committee of the Whole. Councilman Zielinski so moved and Councilman Grounds <br />seconded the motion. Motion carried. Time: 8:05 p.m. <br />COMMITTEE OF THE WHOLE MEETING <br />Be it remembered that the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana, met in the Committee <br />of the Whole in the Council Chambers of the County -City Building on Monday, July 27, 1970 at <br />8:06 p.m., with 8 members present and 1 absent (Council- President Laven) The meeting was called <br />to order by Chairman William W.
