JULY 20, 1970 SPECIAL MEETING Be it remembered that the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana, met in Special Session in the County -City Building, in the Council Chambers, on July 20, 1970 at 8:10 p.m. The meeting was called to order by Council President Robert 0. Laven, who presided. The invoca- tion.was given by Reverend Matt Kafka, St. Adalbert Church, S. Olive Street, South Bend, Indiana Council President Laven instructed the Clerk to read the Notice of Special Meeting of the Common Council that was received by each Councilman. TO THE MEMBERS OF THE COMMON COUNCIL: NOTICE OF SPECIAL MEETING OF THE COMMON COUNCIL You are hereby notified that there will beta "Sp cial Meting" of thlocommon council of the City of South Bend, Indiana on the 20th day of y, City Building, in the Council Chambers, for the purpose of: A PUBLIC HEARING WILL BE HELD ON THE FOLLOWING PROPOSED ORDINANCES: AN ORDINANCE FIXING MAXIMUM SALARIES OF APPOINTED OFFICERS AND EMPLOYEES OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, FOR THE YEAR 1971. AND AN ORDINANCE FIXING THE ANNUAL PAY OF FIREMEN FOR THE CALENDAR YEAR 1971. AND AN ORDINANCE FIXING THE ANNUAL PAY OF POLICEMEN FOR THE CALENDAR YEAR OF 1971.
