`169 <br />COMMITTEE OF THE WHOLE MEETING JANUARY 26, 1970 <br />ORDINANCE <br />AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR TEMPORARY WALKWAYS <br />AROUND CONSTRUCTION PROJECTS AND PROVIDING A <br />PENALTY FOR THE VIOLATION THEREOF. <br />This being the time heretofore set for public hearing on the above Ordinance, proponents and <br />opponents were given an opportunity to be heard thereon. Councilman Reinke made a motion that <br />the Ordinance be amended by substitution. Councilman Wise seconded the motion. Motion carried. <br />Councilman Reinke then read the substituted ordinance in its entirety. Councilman Reinke moved <br />that the public hearing be held on the substituted ordinance on Feb. 9, 1970 and the ordinance <br />be referred back to the Streets, Alleys & Bridges Committee for study, however, he withdrew <br />his motion. Councilman Allen made a motion that the Council portion of the public hearing be <br />held on February 9, 1970 and that the substituted ordinance be referred to the Streets, Alleys, <br />& Bridges Committee for study and brought out of Committee for public hearing.on that date. * *- <br />There being no further business to be considered before the Committee of the Whole, <br />Chairman Grounds entertained a motion to rise and report to the'Council.
