<br />AN ORDINANCE FOR AN ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATION
<br />FROM THE GENERAL FUND IN THE AMOUNT OF $2000.00
<br />TO ACCOUNT P -262, "MEDICAL, SURGICAL AND DENTAL"
<br />IN THE POLICE DEPARTMENT BUDGET.
<br />The Ordinance was given third reading and passed by a roll call vote of 9 ayes (Councilmen Allen,
<br />Laven, Craven, Grounds, Palmer, Reinke, Szymkowiak, Zielinski and Wise. 0 nays;

<br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND CONCERNING
<br />THE PURCHASE OF LAND AND THE CONSTRUCTION, MAINTENANCE,
<br />OPERATION AND FINANCING OF OFF- STREET PARKING FACILITIES
<br />THEREON, THE ISSUANCE OF REVENUE BONDS TO PROVIDE THE
<br />COST THEREOF, THE COLLECTION, SEGREGATION AND DISTRI-
<br />BUTION OF THE REVENUES OF SAID PROJECT, THE SAFEGUARDING
<br />OF THE INTERESTS OF THE HOLDERS OF SAID BONDS, AND
<br />OTHER MATTERS CONNECTED THEREWITH, AS AMENDED.
<br />Councilman Gerald C. Reinke read the two proposed amendments to the Ordinance, Amendments #1'& #2
<br />He made a motion that they be accepted by the Common Council. Councilman Craven seconded the
<br />motion. Motion carried. Councilman Allen asked that a vote be taken separately on each
<br />amendment.
<br />The vote taken on Amendment #1 was: 7 ayes. (Councilmen Reinke, Grounds, Palmer, Craven, Laven,
<br />Zielinski and Wise) 2 nays, (Councilmen Allen and Szymkowiak).
<br />The vote taken on Amendment #2 was: 9 ayes, (Councilmen Allen, Craven, Grounds, Laven, Palmer,
<br />Reinke, Szymkowiak, Wise and Zielinski). 0 nays.
<br />The Ordinance was given third reading and passed by roll call vote of 6 ayes (Craven, Grounds,
<br />Laven, Palmer, Reinke and Zielinski). 3 nays, (Allen, Szymkowiak and Wise).
<br />ORDINANCES, FIRST AND SECOND READING
<br />AN ORDINANCE FURTHER AMENDING ORDINANCE.NO. 3232,
<br />AS AMENDED, COMMONLY KNOWN AS THE COUNCILMANIC
<br />DISTRICT ORDINANCE, BEING SECTION 12 OF CHAPTER
<br />1 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND.
<br />The Ordinance was given first reading by title and second reading in full. Councilman Grounds
<br />made a motion that the Ordinance be referred to the Redistricting Committee for further study.
<br />Councilman Reinke seconded the motion. Motion carried.

<br />AN ORDINANCE FOR AN ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATION
<br />TO ACCOUNT Q -43, "REPAIR PARTS" IN THE AMOUNT
<br />OF $4,000.00 AND THE TRANSFER OF SAID SUM FROM
<br />ACCOUNT Q -11, "SERVICES PERSONAL" AND FOR AN
<br />ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATION TO ACCOUNT Q -262,
<br />"MEDICAL, SURGICAL AND DENTAL ", IN THE AMOUNT OF
<br />$4,000.00 AND THE TRANSFER OF SAID SUM FROM
<br />ACCOUNT Q -11, "SERVICES PERSONAL ", IN THE FIRE
<br />DEPARTMENT, ALL BEING WITHIN THE GENERAL FUND.
<br />The Ordinance was given first reading by title and second reading in full. Councilman Zielinski
<br />made a motion that the Ordinance be given public hearing on June 23, 1969. Councilman Allen
<br />seconded the motion. Motion carried.
