ORDINANCE <br />AN ORDINANCE FOR AN ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATION <br />TO ACCOUNT Q -43, "REPAIR PARTS" IN THE AMOUNT <br />OF $1,000.00 AND TO ACCOUNT Q -252, REPAIRS OF <br />EQUIPMENT" IN THE AMOUNT OF $1,200.00 AND THE <br />TRANSFER OF SAID SUMS FROM ACCOUNT Q -11, "SAL- <br />ARIES" IN THE FIRE DEPARTMENT BUDGET, ALL BE- <br />ING WITHIN THE GENERAL FUND. <br />This being the time heretofore set for public hearing on the above Ordinance, proponents and opponents were <br />given an opportunity to be heard thereon. Fire Chief Joseph L. Zurat said the money was needed for the repair <br />of cars. Also speaking for the Ordinance was James A. Bickel, City Controller. He explained nb.:safety <br />vehicle is insured for collision but if the other vehicle involved pays, the money then goes into the General <br />Fund. Councilman Szymkowiak made a motion the Ordinance go the Council as favorable. Councilman Palmer <br />seconded the motion. Motion carried. <br />There being no further business before the Committee of the Whole, Councilman Allen made a motion to rise and <br />report to the Council.
