REGULAR MEETING AUGUST 124-1968 <br />REPORT OF COMMITTEE OF THE WHOLE <br />To the Common Council of the City of South Bend: <br />Your Committee of the Whole to whom was referred "AN ORDINANCE FOR ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATIONS FROM THE GENERAL <br />FUND IN THE AMOUNT OF $58,000.00 TO VARIOUS ACCOUNTS WITHIN THE GENERAL FUND, ". <br />Respectfully report that they have examined the matter and that in their opinion the Ordinance go to the <br />Council favorable, as amended. <br />/s/ William W. The following action was taken: <br />After due consideration it was moved, seconded, and <br />unanimously carried that the ordinance and site development <br />plan be recommended favorably to the Common Council. <br />Excerpts from the minutes of the meeting are hereby attached and made a part of this report. <br />Very truly yours, <br />/s/ John K. Wilson, <br />Executive Director <br />ORDINANCES, THIRD READING <br />ORDINANCE NO. 5023 -68 <br />AN ORDINANCE FOR ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATIONS TO <br />ACCOUNT Q -221, "ELECTRIC SERVICE" IN THE AMOUNT <br />OF $1,100.00 AND TO ACCOUNT Q -222, "GAS SERVICE" <br />IN THE AMOUNT. OF $1,600.00 AND THE TRANSFER OF <br />SAID SUMS FROM ACCOUNT Q -11, "SALARIES" IN THE <br />FIRE DEPARTMENT BUDGET, ALL BEING WITHIN THE <br />GENERAL FUND. <br />The Ordinance was given third reading and passed by a roll call vote of 6 ayes, (Councilmen Laven, Craven, <br />Reinke, Grounds, Wise, and Palmer). 3 nays, (Councilmen Allen, Szymkowiak, and Zielinski) 0 absent. <br />ORDINANCES, THIRD READING <br />ORDINANCE NO. 5024 -68 <br />AN ORDINANCE FOR AN ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATION TO <br />ACCOUNT MVH -43, "REPAIR PARTS" IN-THE AMOUNT OF <br />$9,000 AND THE TRANSFER OF SAID SUM FROM THE <br />FOLLOWING ACCOUNTS: ACCOUNT MVH -11, "SERVICES <br />PERSONAL" $4,200; ACCOUNT MVH -422, "SALT" <br />$2,800 AND ACCOUNT MVH -722, "MOTOR EQUIPMENT" <br />$2,000 AND ALL ACCOUNTS BEING IN THE MOTOR <br />VEHICLE HIGHWAY FUND. <br />The Ordinance was given third reading and passed by a roll call vote of 9 ayes, (Councilmen Laven, Craven, Allen, <br />Reinke, Grounds, Szymkowiak, Wise, Palmer, and Zielinski). 0 nays, 0 absent. <br />
