<br />In Re: A proposed ordinance and site development plan of Nohl A. Lueneburg, et al,
<br />to zone from "A" Residential, to "C -2" Commercial, "A" Height and Area, pro-
<br />perty located at 18181, 18163 and 18141 Ireland Road, City of South Bend.
<br />Gentlemen:
<br />The attached rezoning petition of Nohl A. Lueneburg, et al, was legally advertised September
<br />11, 1976. The Area Plan Commission gave it a public hearing on September 21, 1976, at which time
<br />the following action was taken:
<br />"Upon a motion by Rollin
<br />carried, the petition of
<br />to "C -2" Commercial, "A"
<br />18141 Ireland Road, City
<br />a recommendation and wit
<br />Common Council for their
<br />Farrand, being seconded by Joseph Serge and unanimously
<br />Nohl A. Lueneburg, et al, to zone from "A" Residential,
<br />Height and Area, property located at 18181, 18163 and
<br />of South Bend, is returned to the Common Council without
<br />h the deliberations of the Commission forwarded to the
<br />review prior to action on this matter.
<br />A previous motion to recommend this petition favorably failed to pass for lack of
<br />sufficient votes. The vote was four in favor and five against the motion."
<br />If the Council should rezone this site, it shall have to be subject to the submission of a
<br />final site plan.
<br />The deliberations of the Area Plan Commission and points considered in arriving at the above
<br />decision are shown in minutes of the public hearing and will be forwarded to you at a later date
<br />to be made a part of this report. Attached for your consideration in the review of this matter
<br />is a copy of the Area Plan Commission Staff Report.

<br />Federal Credit Union, to zone from "B" Residential and "A" Residential, "A"
<br />Height and Area, to "C" Commercial, "A" Height and Area, property located at
<br />the northeast corner of Bendix Drive and Greene Street, City of South Bend
<br />Gentlemen:
<br />The attached rezoning petition of Hindsley, Inc., and A.A.A. Federal Credit Union was legally
<br />advertised on September 11, 1976. The Area Plan Commission gave it a public hearing on September
<br />21, 1976, at which time the- - following was taken:
<br />"Upon a motion by Russell Rothermel, being seconded by Thomas Allen and unanimously
<br />carried, the petition of Hindsley, Inc., and A.A.A. Federal Credit Union, to zone
<br />from "B" Residential and "A" Residential, "A" Height and Area, to "C" Commercial,
<br />"A" Height and Area, property located at the northeast corner of Bendix Drive and
<br />Greene Street, City' of South Bend, is returned to the Common Council with a favorable
<br />recommendation, subject to the following:
<br />1. The vacation of the alley that is currently upon the site.
<br />2. The dedication of an additional 4 feet of alley right -of -way by
<br />replat prior to the submittal of a final site plan.
<br />3. The submittal of a final site plan which notes the above changes."
<br />The above recommendation is made subject to a final site plan and the preliminary site plan
<br />is attached hereto.
