SPECIAL MEETING_ <br />REGULAR MEETING RECONVENED <br />ORDINANCE NO. 6017 -76 AN ORDINANCE LEVYING TAXES AND FIXING THE <br />RATE OF TAXATION FOR THE PURPOSE OF RAISING <br />REVENUE TO MEET THE NECESSARY EXPENSE FOR <br />THE FISCAL YEAR ENDING DECEMBER 31, 1977. <br />This ordinance had second reading. Council Member Taylor made a motion to amend the ordinance, <br />as amended in the Committee of the Whole, seconded by Council Member Kopczynski. The motion <br />carried. Council Member Taylor made a motion to pass the ordinance, as amended, seconded by <br />Council Member Adams. The ordinance passed by a roll call vote of nine ayes (Council Members <br />Serge, Szymkowiak, Miller, Taylor, Kopczynski, Adams, Dombrowski, Horvath and Parent). <br />Council President Parent thanked all the members of the administration for their help on this <br />budget. <br />There being no further business to come before the Council, unfinished or new, Council Member <br />Kopczynski made a motion to adjourn, seconded by Council Member Adams. The motion carried and <br />the meeting was adjourned at 7:30 p.m. <br />ATTEST: APPROVED: <br />City Clerk Presiden <br />
