<br />In Re: A proposed ordinance and site development plan of Elmer R. Graber, to zone from
<br />"C" Commercial and "A" Residential, "A" Heigth and Area, to "C" Commercial, "A"
<br />Height and Area, property located at the southeast corner of St. Joseph Street
<br />and Ireland Road, City of South Bend.
<br />Gentlemen:
<br />The attached rezoning petition of Elmer R. Graber, was legally advertised August 7, 1976.
<br />The Area Plan Commission gave it a public hearing August 17, 1976, at which time the following
<br />action was taken:
<br />"Upon a motion by Garrett Mullins, being seconded by Rollin Farrand, and
<br />unanimously carried, the petition of Elmer R. Graber to zone from "C"
<br />commercial and "A" Residential, "A" Height and Area, to "C " Commercial,
<br />"A" Height and Area, property located at the southeast corner of St.
<br />Joseph Street and Ireland Road, City of South Bend, is returned to the
<br />Common Council with a favorable recommendation, subject to the approval of
<br />a final site plan, which indicates an access easement which is aligned
<br />with commercial development to the east."
<br />The above recommendation is made subject to a final site plan and the preliminary site
<br />plan is attached hereto.
<br />The deliberations of the Area Plan Commission and points considered in arriving at the
<br />above decision are shown in the minutes and will be forwarded to you at a later date to be made
<br />a part of this report. Attached for your consideration in the review of this matter is a copy
<br />of the APC Staff Report.

<br />Inc., to zone from "C" Commercial, "A" Height and Area, to "C" Commercial,
<br />"A" Height and Area, property located on the west side of Miami Road, south
<br />of Ireland Road, City of South Bend.
<br />Gentlemen:
<br />The attached rezoning petition of Robert's Cleaning Centers, Inc., was legally advertise(
<br />August 7, 1976. The Area Plan Commission gave it a public hearing August 17, 1976, at which tim(
<br />the following action was taken:
<br />"Upon a motion by Robert Lehman, being seconded by Kenneth Woods and un-
<br />animously carried, the petition of Roberts Cleaning Centers, Inc., to zone
<br />from "C" Commercial, "A" Height and Area, to "C" Commercial "A" Height and
<br />Area property located on the west side of Miami Road, south of Ireland Road,
<br />City of South Bend, is returned to the Common Council with a favorable re-
<br />commendation, subject to a final site plan which provides fencing as requested by
<br />the City Engineer."
<br />The above recommendation is made subject to a final site plan and the preliminary site
<br />plan is attached hereto.
