c(6) The pushing of snow onto any City street by an individual is prohibited. CM Any individual abusing the services of City emergency vehicles shall be subject to the penalty provisions of Section 20 -105 and shall reimburse the City for all costs expended in responding to any false call. Section 20 -105: Penalties a) Any person violating the provisions of Section 20- 104(c) may be fined not more than three hundred dollars ($300.00). (Code 1962, Chapter 25 -106; Ord. No. 6236 -77, Chapter 12; Ord. No. 6317 -78, Chapter 8) b) Any person found to be violating the provisions of this Article other than sub - section 20- 104(c) shall be fined fifty dollars ($50.00). SECTION II: Chapter 20, Article 1, Section 20- 15(a), Impounding of Vehicles During Times of Emergency, of the Municipal Code of the City of South Bend, Indiana, is hereby amended to read as follows: Section 20 -15: Impounding of Vehicles During Times of Emergency a) The Police Department or its designee may remove and impound any unoccupied or unattended vehicle upon any street so as to constitute a definite hazard or obstruction to the move- ment of traffic in times of emergency such as fires, riots, civil emergencies (as provided by law), natural disasters, street cave - ins, snow emergencies, residential emergencies, weather disasters, or any other emergency. SECTION III: This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage by the Common Council and approval by the Mayor, and after legal publication.
