c(6) The pushing of snow onto any City street by an <br />individual is prohibited. <br />CM Any individual abusing the services of City emergency <br />vehicles shall be subject to the penalty provisions <br />of Section 20 -105 and shall reimburse the City for all <br />costs expended in responding to any false call. <br />Section 20 -105: Penalties <br />a) Any person violating the provisions of Section 20- 104(c) may <br />be fined not more than three hundred dollars ($300.00). (Code <br />1962, Chapter 25 -106; Ord. No. 6236 -77, Chapter 12; Ord. No. <br />6317 -78, Chapter 8) <br />b) Any person found to be violating the provisions of this Article <br />other than sub - section 20- 104(c) shall be fined fifty dollars <br />($50.00). <br />SECTION II: Chapter 20, Article 1, Section 20- 15(a), Impounding <br />of Vehicles During Times of Emergency, of the Municipal Code of the <br />City of South Bend, Indiana, is hereby amended to read as follows: <br />Section 20 -15: Impounding of Vehicles During Times of Emergency <br />a) The Police Department or its designee may remove and impound <br />any unoccupied or unattended vehicle upon any street so as <br />to constitute a definite hazard or obstruction to the move- <br />ment of traffic in times of emergency such as fires, riots, <br />civil emergencies (as provided by law), natural disasters, <br />street cave - ins, snow emergencies, residential emergencies, <br />weather disasters, or any other emergency. <br />SECTION III: This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from <br />and after its passage by the Common Council and approval by the <br />Mayor, and after legal publication. <br />Passed as amended, October 23, 1978 <br />
