ORDINANCE NO. 4q,k <br />AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING THE SUM OF $8,834.34 <br />FROM THE CUMULATIVE SEWER BUILDING AND SINKING <br />FUND TO THE GENERAL IMPROVEMENT FUND FOR PROSPECT <br />STREET FROM�:CALVERT STREET TO DELAWARE STREET. <br />STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT: <br />Certain Barrett Law sewer projects have been constructed in accordance <br />with bids and Resolutions submitted to and approved by the Board of Public <br />Works. The City of South Bend has been assessed the sum of $8,834.34 for <br />the sanitary sewer on Prospect Street from Calvert Street to Delaware Street <br />and funds are needed for payment of this assessment. The Cumulative Sewer <br />Building and Sinking Fund has been established and can legally incur this <br />cost. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />SOUTH BEND, INDIANA: <br />SECTION I: That the sum of $$,834.34 be appropriated from the Cumula- <br />tive Sewer Building and Sinking Fund to the General Improvement Fund for <br />costs as set forth below: <br />Sanitary Sewer on Prospect Street from <br />Calvert Street to Delaware Street $8,834.34 <br />SECTION II: This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from <br />and after its passage by the Common Council, approval by the Mayor, and <br />the fulfillment of all statutory requirements. <br />Member o mm <br />he Coon Council <br />Lx.� I signed only to prov <br />opportunity for public <br />and Council action on the i:: � <br />
