Stancati, Director of Utilities <br />TO: MEMBERS OF THE COMMON COUNCIL <br />(219) 284 -9322 <br />SUBJECT: Ordinance for the Purchase of Snow Removal <br />Equipment <br />The Board of Public Works is presenting an <br />Ordinance to the Common Council which will approve the purchse of <br />snow removal equipment. <br />Bids were let pursuant to the Statutes of the <br />State of Indiana and were found competitive. The Contract was <br />awarded to Deeds Equipment, South Bend, Indiana, by the Board of <br />Public Works Commissioners <br />on the 23rd day <br />of <br />August, 1978, as being <br />the lowest and best bid. <br />Total net amount <br />of <br />this purchase is <br />$14,500.00. <br />John F.
