Council Member Serge made a motion to pass this bill, seconded by Council Member Barcome. The bill passed by a roll call vote of nine ayes. ORDINANCE NO. 7606 -86 PUBLIC HEARING ON A BILL APPROPRIATING $84,940.00 FROM THE WATER WORKS DEPRECIATION FUND TO ACCOUNT NUMBERED 399.0 WITHIN THAT FUND. This bill had second reading. Council Member Serge made a motion to pass this bill, seconded by Council Member Barcome. The bill passed by a roll call vote of nine ayes. RESOLUTIONS RESOLUTION NO. 1402 -86 A RESOLUTION OF THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, CONFIRMING THE ADOPTION OF A DECLARATORY RESOLUTION REDESIGNATING CERTAIN AREAS WITHIN THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, AS ECONOMIC REVITALIZATION AREAS FOR THE PURPOSES OF PROPERTY TAX ABATEMENT. WHEREAS, the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana, has adopted a Declaratory Resolution redesignating certain areas within the City as Economic Revitalization Areas for the purpose of tax abatement consideration; and WHEREAS, a Declaratory Resolution redesignating areas described in the following resolutions which were originally designated as Urban Development Areas (UDA) to Economic Revitalization Areas (ERA) was heard by the Council at its meeting on February 3, 1986, those being as follows: (1) Res. No. 719 -79 Urban Development declaring lst Source Bank and the Marriott Center Complex for real property tax abatement consideration. (adopted 9- 24 -79) (2) Res. No. 726 -79 Urban Development Area for River Glen Office Plaza Associates Project for real property tax abatement consideration. (adopted 10 -8 -79) (3) Res.
