REGULAR MEETING OCTOBER 22, 1984 <br />s <br />Member Puzzello. The motion carried on a roll call vote of seven ayes. This being <br />the time heretofore set for public hearing on the above bill, proponents and opponents <br />were given an opportunity to be heard. Charles Boynton, attorney representing the <br />Economic Development Commission, made the presentation for the bill. He indicated <br />the bond issue would be used to provide financing for the development of an office, <br />light industrial, warehousing, and storage space on property located in the Airport <br />E Industrial Park. Council Member Zakrzewski made a motion to pass this bill, seconded <br />Fby Council Member Braboy. The bill passed by a roll cal vote of seven ayes. <br />E <br />BILL NO. 117 -84 A BILL APPROPRIATING FUNDS IN THE AMOUNT OF $30,000.00 FROM <br />THE GENERAL PARK FUND TO THE PARK MAINTENANCE FUND .01 TO BE <br />USED TO SUPPLEMENT THE 1984 PARK MAINTENANCE BUDGET. <br />This bill had first reading. Council Member Zakrzewski made a motion to set this <br />bill for public hearing and second reading November 5, and refer it to the Park Committee, <br />seconded by Council Member Voorde. The motion carried. <br />BILL NO. 118 -84 A BILL APPROPRIATING $45,000 WITHIN THE CITY CEMETERY TRUST <br />FUND TO BE ADMINISTERED BY THE BUREAU OF CEMETERIES OF THE <br />PARK DEPARTMENT. <br />This bill had first reading. Council Member Zakrzewski made a motion to set this <br />bill for public hearing and second reading November 5, and refer it to the Park Committee, <br />seconded by Council Member Voorde. The motion carried. <br />BILL NO. 119 -84 A BILL APPROPRIATING $1,600,000.00 FROM THE FEDERAL ASSISTANCE <br />GRANT FUND COMMONLY REFERRED TO AS GENERAL REVENUE SHARING <br />TRUST FUND FOR THE 1984 POLICE AND FIRE PENSION COSTS OF THE <br />CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA. <br />This bill had first reading. Council Member Puzzello made a motion to set this bill <br />for public hearing and second reading November 5, and refer it to the Public Safety <br />Committee, seconded by Council Member Crone. The motion carried. <br />There being no further business to come before the Council, unfinished or new, Council <br />Member Crone made a motion to adjourn, seconded by Council Member Zakrzewski.
