LaMar Wilson <br />Assistant Director <br />M E M O R A N D U M <br />TO: MEMBERS OF THE COMMON COUNCIL <br />FROM: CARL ELLISON, DIRECTOR, COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT <br />SUBJECT: TRANSFER OF $3,072 WITHIN THE FIRE STATION /TRUCK PROJECT <br />DATE: NOVEMBER 15, 1978 <br />The attached bill seeks the transfer of $3,072.00, within the Department <br />Of Public Works' 1977 CDBG Budget, from the Fire Truck Purchase cost category <br />to the Fire Station Construction cost category. <br />The Division of Community Development allocated $120,000 from the 1977 <br />CDBG Fund for the purchase of a 100 ft. aerial fire truck. The dollar purchase <br />price, including one change order, totaled $116,928. A balance of $3,072 now <br />exists within the Fire Truck cost category. <br />We propose to transfer this balance of $3,072 to the Fire Station <br />Construction cost category. The transferred balance would allow the Fire <br />Department to purchase needed furniture and fixtures incidental to the <br />efficient and effective utilization of the newly constructed station. <br />Therefore, we respectfully request your favorable consideration of the <br />attached bill.
