8Morris Performing Arts Center Parking Garage <br />Garmong Construction <br />Terre Haute Convention Center | Terre Haute, IN <br />Garmong served as Construction Manager for the 41,000 square-foot Terre Haute <br />Convention Center. Located in the downtown area, the facility is largely single- <br />story with a main ballroom, which accommodates up to 900 people, and a full- <br />service kitchen area. The structure also includes a two-story section that houses the <br />Larry Bird Museum on the first floor and administrative areas on the second floor. <br />Garmong also constructed a five-level, pre-cast parking garage to accommodate <br />the Convention Center. <br />Project Cost: $25,000,000 <br />Reference: Tennille Wanner | 812.244.1559 <br />Challenges and Successes: Before construction could begin, extensive utility <br />relocations were necessary due to the need for deep foundations. This added <br />complexity to the early phases of the project and required close collaboration with <br />utility providers and city officials. <br />Monon on Main Parking Garage | Carmel, IN <br />Garmong served as Construction Manager for this $20M mixed-use development <br />project in downtown Carmel. The three-story, 12,000 square-foot building features <br />an upscale steakhouse; a three-story office building with 17,600 square-feet of <br />office space and 8,000 square-feet of ground level retail space along Main Street; <br />seven townhouses, a park along the Monon Trail and a parking garage. The project <br />is located at the intersection of Main Street and the Monon Trail. <br />Project Cost: $20,000,000 <br />Reference: Chuck Lazzara | 317.846.9158 <br />Challenges and Successes: The project involved redeveloping an entire city block <br />in downtown Carmel, requiring careful coordination with both a private developer <br />and the City of Carmel. <br />Midtown East Parking Garages | Carmel, IN <br />Garmong completed two independent parking structures as part of the Midtown <br />East commercial and residential development. These parking structures were <br />constructed concurrently with adjacent multi-story commercial buildings that were <br />not completed by Garmong.
