This new <br />shelter will be approximately 70,500 SF with an additional 7,025 SF under roof for <br />the indoor/outdoor kennels. The building will accommodate Cat Adoption, Dog <br />Adoption, Training, Vet Services, Surrender, Enforcements, Administration, kennels, <br />and Building Services with additional outdoor areas for a Public Dog Park, Adoption <br />Center Play Area, and other support areas. It will be constructed on a portion of <br />a 24-acre parcel currently being transferred to the City of Indianapolis.
