<br /> <br />In those days Daniel Kotz had owned multiple studios. The first in Chicago, his second in <br />Grand Rapids, his third in South Bend located on No. 9 Michigan Street before the city was <br />properly numbered, (likely located around the intersection of Washington and Michigan <br />Street)…but it was not until Daniel opened his fouth studio in New York when he really rose <br />to national fame and international notoriety as an influential American landscape artist. <br />Daniel eventually opened his final studio in New Jersey. <br /> <br />
