ORDINANCE NO.yg - <br />AN ORDINANCE APPROVING A CONTRACT BETWEEN THE BUREAU <br />OF WATER OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, IDNIANA, AND <br />PEERLESS - MIDWEST, INC., GRANGER, INDIANA, FOR THE <br />CONSTRUCTION OF AIRPORT NO. 4 IN THE TOTAL AMOUNT OF <br />$37,132.00. <br />STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT: <br />To approve the construction of Airport Well No. 4 as construction <br />is required in the operation of the Bureau of Water. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, AS FOLLOWS: <br />SECTION I. That the contract entered into between the Bureau <br />of Water of South Bend, Indiana, and Peerless - Midwest, Inc., Granger, <br />Indiana, on the 18th day of December, 1978, pursuant to advertising and <br />receipt of bids as the construction of same is required in the operation <br />of the Bureau of Water, at a total cost not to exceed $37,132.00, is <br />hereby approved and confirmed. <br />PEERLESS - MIDWEST, INC. <br />GRANGER, INDIANA Construction of Airport Well #4 $37,132.00 <br />SECTION II.
