For project specific guidance, <br />consult with project engineer/architect/general contractor. Big C Lumber assumes no responsibility for truss <br />handling, erection, or bracing. <br />• Contractor is advised: BCSI-131 requires use of Spreader bar 2/3 to 3/4 the length of the trusses, even if not <br />visible, trusses can be damaged if proper spreader bar is not used for truss erection. <br />• Does not include any truss or hanger fasteners (Nails, Bolts, Screws not included) <br />• Simpson A35 clips included at Roof truss to shear wall connections <br />Floor Package: <br />Supplied by SBC Loose <br />• Floor Depth is Per Print 18" Typical, <br />• Floors are at 24" O.C. loading TCD15/BCD10/TCL40 at living units. <br />• Floors are quoted at L/480 Live load, and L/360 for Total Loads, this will need to be confirmed before Final <br />Bid. <br />• Floor is designed for Granite counter tops. <br />• Floor designs can be stamped by an Engineer after final approval of design if needed. <br />• Truss to Beam and Beam to Beam Hangers are included in package. <br />• Floor is designed for 1" Gyp-crete flooring. <br />Excluded from SBC Floor Truss Package <br />• Does not include any truss or hanger fasteners (Nails, Bolts, Screws not included) <br />• Materials and installation of Treated Decks <br />• Materials and installation of any dimensional floor framing. <br />• Materials and installation of Steel beams. <br />• Materials or installation of Wood beams as headers, or not touching floor trusses. <br />• Materials or installation or porch beams. <br />• Materials and Installation of Draft Stop products. <br />• Blocking for draft stops or strong backs. <br />• Materials and installation of floor Sheathing. <br />• Trusses are NOT FCS or fire treated. <br />Any wood beams flush inside the floor plenum. <br />• Simpson A35 clips included at Floor truss to shear wall connections <br />o Any wood beams dropped directly touching the floor trusses. <br />Any wood beams flush inside the floor plenum. <br />General Notes: <br />• All Corrosion Protection where dis-similar materials come in contact to be supplied and installed by rough <br />carpentry labor package. <br />• All sealants and adhesives installed and supplied by others. <br />• Contractor is responsible for following all BCSI and Building Code bracing guidelines, which sometimes <br />require retaining a registered professional engineer for the design of temporary bracing; this is NOT <br />included in the SBCF's component package. <br />• Project is bid off prints dated 08-13-25 ISSUED FOR BIDDING, this bid should be used for budgeting only, Big <br />C will re -bid when Final documents are released. <br />• Page 5501 detail #1 shows strapping needing to be installed before sheathing on shear walls. If this is the <br />case, we will supply loose sheathing for these areas and the contractor will be responsible for applying <br />sheathing in those areas. <br />
