We are confident in this firm's ability to perform and recommend them for your favorable <br />consideration. <br />Based on our experience with Melching, Inc., we would favorably consider bonds for single projects up <br />to $5,000,000, with a total backlog in the $10,000,000 range. Our consideration would be based on the <br />satisfactory completion of our normal underwriting requirements, which include, but are not limited to, <br />our satisfactory review and approval of the contract terms and conditions, our contractor's financial <br />condition at that time, its overall work program, verification of project financing and other pertinent <br />underwriting criteria. <br />This letter is intended as a bonding reference only. Our agreement to issue bid, performance, or payment bonds on behalf of Melching <br />Inc., on any project, is subject to the application of our usual and customary underwriting standards and <br />risk selection criteria, and the underwriting conditions which exist at the time a bond is requested. <br />Western National Mutual Insurance's financial rating by A.M.
