Demolition Management Plan <br />W-M.1.111M a sib <br />Dore & Associates, Inc. (Dore) will perform demolition of (location/description of project). <br />Following is the planned sequence of demolition: <br />Section 1 <br />Equipment (example — not project specific) <br />Two (2) 330 CAT excavators <br />Two (2) 345 CAT excavators <br />Two (2) Bobcats (skid loaders) <br />Assorted machine attachments - grapple, concrete pulverizer, hydraulic hammer, scissor lifts <br />Assorted environmental equipment <br />Section 2 <br />General Information (not project specific) <br />a. Dore will obtain all the required state and local permits (i.e. demolition permit, hydrant <br />permit, etc.) for demolition of buildings as stated above. <br />b. Dore will make the necessary _ One Call for locating utilities. <br />c. Dore will hire a certified rodent exterminator for rodent control. <br />d. Dore will secure the site. <br />e. Dore will install compost sock and storm drain protection around perimeter of demolition <br />site to stop any migration of silt onto surrounding properties, or infiltration into storm <br />drains. <br />f. Dore will be responsible for disconnecting and capping all utilities necessary. <br />g. Dore will perform interior demolition in order to access areas for asbestos abatement <br />and areas with lead contamination. <br />h. Dore will remove all asbestos, hazardous materials, and lead contaminated materials <br />from the buildings prior to demolition. <br />i. Dore will clean and neutralize the sulfuric acid inside the storage tanks and dispose of <br />the tanks, <br />j. Dore will perform interior clean -out of the buildings removing wood, carpet, paper, etc. <br />k. Dore will demolish buildings down to slab on grade (or as may be described in project <br />specifications) and haul away all ferrous and non-ferrous material and demolition debris. <br />I. Dore will fracture slab on grade to allow for proper drainage. <br />m. Dore will use existing clean masonry and brick to fill in pits and sumps and to grade to <br />surrounding grade, only if approved by state DHEC/Permitting. <br />n. Dore will suppress dust emissions during demolition by using water form fire hoses <br />connected to fire hydrants (weather permitting). <br />o. Dore will implement a recycling program to recycle and document material to maximize <br />the reuse of material from the demolition. <br />p. Dore will implement a post project site grading erosion control plan. <br />Section 3 <br />
