Our <br />work includes a citywide traffic signal retiming proj- <br />ect, where we are modifying timings, addressing <br />citizen requests, and reviewing new signal designs. <br />American Structurepoint also has remote access to <br />the city's system, allowing us to quickly respond to <br />operational requests from city departments. American <br />Structurepoint continues to serve as the city's on -call <br />signal system engineers, providing services such as <br />design plan review, intersection analysis, and mainte- <br />nance -of -traffic timings. <br />RELEVANT STAFF: Patrick O'Connor, Gannon Grimmer, <br />Shaluka Samarasena, Hardik Shah, Sarah Everhart <br />SOUTH BEND ON -CALL TRAFFIC <br />ENGINEERING SOUTH BEND, INDIANA <br />American Structurepoint has been retained by the <br />City to provide Traffic Engineering services since 2017. <br />These services have included traffic signal operational <br />reviews and timing modifications, addressing citizen <br />and staff timing requests and adjustments, traffic sig- <br />nal design review services, and other miscellaneous <br />services. As part of this project, development reviews, <br />traffic signal warrant analysis, development of timing <br />standards and stop -sign installation standards have <br />been developed. <br />RELEVANT STAFF: Patrick O'Connor, Gannon Grimmer, <br />Jose Jaruin, Hardik Shah <br />A[C]h,FA III =1 �A■1:\TI=1:III ID] Zvi <br />SOUTH BEND, INDIANA <br />American Structurepoint was hired by the City of South <br />Bend to conduct a comprehensive traffic signal project. <br />We created a GIS cloud -based application to inventory <br />over 200 traffic signals, collecting detailed data, pho- <br />tos, and operational observations. They also reviewed <br />and developed new signal timings, including yellow <br />and all -red intervals, and pedestrian walk signals to <br />ensure citywide consistency and ADA compliance. This <br />project follows their previous work on the city's Smart <br />Streets initiative, where they designed modifications <br />for 30 intersections and retimed 50 others. <br />RELEVANT STAFF: Patrick O'Connor, Gannon Grimmer, <br />Jose Jarquin, Hardik Shah <br />EMERGENCY VEHICLE PREEMPTION <br />SYSTEM DESIGN CITY OF LAFAYETTE <br />AND WEST LAFAYETTE, INDIANA <br />American Structurepoint is providing professional ser- <br />vices for the Lafayette Emergency Vehicle Preemption <br />(EVP) System Design. The project includes a kickoff <br />meeting and a field inventory to assess existing sig- <br />nal equipment and the current preemption system's <br />operational characteristics. The team will review city- <br />wide signal controller databases to develop conceptual <br />design plans, which will be presented to the City's proj- <br />ect team for feedback. The project concludes with the <br />consultant preparing and submitting a final EVP design <br />plan set and a technical memorandum.
