Wayne St. <br />APPROVAL OF REVOCABLE PERMIT FOR ENCROACHMENT — FLOCK SAFETY/SB <br />POLICE DEPARTMENT <br />President Maradik stated an application for an encroachment and revocable permit has been <br />received from Flock Group DBA Flock Safety and SBPD for the purpose of allowing Four (4) <br />Solar Powered License Plate Reader Cameras to be placed in the right-of-way at Western Ave. & <br />Sheridan St., Lincoln Way E. 7 Miami, Michigan St. & Marquette Blvd. & Lafayette Blvd. & <br />Colfax Ave. The encroachment shall remain in the right of way until the time as the Board of <br />Public Works of the City of South Bend shall determine that such encroachment is in any way <br />impairing or interfering with the highway or with the free and same flow of traffic. Upon a motion <br />made by VP Molnar, seconded by Mr. Miller and carried by roll call, the encroachment and <br />revocable permit was approved. <br />APPROVAL OF REVOCABLE PERMIT FOR ENCROACHMENT — JDUNHAM & ARNOLD <br />LLC <br />President Maradik stated an application for an encroachment and revocable permit has been <br />received from JDunham & Arnold LLC for the purpose of allowing a 18'canvas storefront awning <br />to be placed in the right-of-way at 1201 Dunham St. The encroachment shall remain in the right <br />of way until the time as the Board of Public Works of the City of South Bend shall determine that <br />such encroachment is in any way impairing or interfering with the highway or with the free and <br />same flow of traffic. Upon a motion made by VP Molnar, seconded by Mr. Miller and carried by <br />roll call, the encroachment and revocable permit was approved. <br />FAVORABLE RECOMMENDATION - PETITION TO VACATE THE EAST/WEST STUB <br />STREET EXTENDING EASTERLY FROM EMERSON FOREST PARKWAY AND 95' <br />SOUTH OF IRVINGTON DRIVE IN WOODHAVEN SECTION ONE SUBDIVISION <br />President Maradik indicated that WO, has submitted a request to vacate the above referenced right- <br />of-way. Ms. Maradik advised the Board is in receipt of favorable recommendations concerning <br />this vacation petition from the Public Works Department, Fire Department, Police Department, <br />and Community Investment who all state the request does meet the criteria of I.C. 36-7-3-13. <br />Therefore, VP Molnar made a motion to send a favorable recommendation to the Common <br />Council. Mr. Miller seconded the motion which carried by roll call. <br />APPROVE/DENY TRAFFIC CONTROL DEVICES <br />Upon a motion made by VP Molnar, seconded by Mr. Miller and carried by roll call, the following <br />traffic control device request was approved: <br />NEW INSTALLATION: Handicapped Accessible Parking Space Sign <br />LOCATION(S): 1639 E. Bowman St. <br />315 S. Chestnut St. <br />2713 Hartzer St. <br />1918 Magyar Ct. <br />REMARKS: All Criteria Met <br />REMOVAL: Handicapped Accessible Parking Space Sign <br />LOCATION: 514 23rd St. <br />
