This is EXHIBIT A, consisting of 11 pages, referred to in <br />and part of the Agreement between Owner and Engineer <br />for Professional Services dated , <br />Engineer's Services <br />Article 1 of the Agreement is supplemented to include the following agreement of the parties. <br />Engineer shall provide Basic and Additional Services as set forth below. <br />PART 1— BASIC SERVICES <br />A1.01 Topographic Survey <br />A. Surveyor shall: <br />1. The topographic survey limits are highlighted in red on attached Attachment "C". <br />a. Survey limits encompass approximately 7 AC. +-/ and 4,400 LF of roads. <br />2. Approx. 17 survey notice letters will be prepared and sent out to the property owners <br />within the survey limits. <br />3. Indiana 811 utility locates will be ordered for the survey limits area. <br />a. It should be noted that they have not consistently been marking utilities for surveys. <br />4. Horizontal control will be based on the Indiana State Plane Coordinate System — East Zone <br />NAD83 (2011), US Survey Feet. Control points will be placed at those locations necessary <br />to complete the survey requested. <br />a. A maximum of 10 control points will beset. <br />5. Vertical control will be based upon the NAVD88 datum via INDOT INCORS. A <br />maximum of 10 temporary benchmarks will be set. <br />6. The topographical survey data will be collected at an approximate interval spacing of 50 <br />feet within the survey limits and as required to define changes in grade. <br />a. The contour line interval shown will be 1-foot. <br />7. An assumption of a maximum of 20 storm and sanitary sewer structures will be located and <br />detailed (rim elevations, pipe size, pipe type, inverts and pictures). <br />a. This includes the sewer structures within the survey limits and the next structure <br />upstream / downstream of said survey limits. <br />8. Show the location of any legal open and/or tile drains that lie within the survey limits, as <br />shown on the St. Joseph County website and/or the legal drain maps of the St. Joseph <br />County Surveyor's Office. <br />9.
