V' <br />t} <br />• SOUTH BEND REDEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY <br />REGULAR MEETING <br />September 20, 1999 1308 County-City Building <br />1:30 p.m. 227 West Jefferson Boulevard <br />Presiding: Ms. Carolyn Pfotenhauer South Bend, IN 46601 <br />The September 20, 1999 Regular Meeting of the Redevelopment Authority was called to order at <br />1:47 p.m. by its President, Carolyn Pfotenhauer. There was a quorum present. <br />1. ROLL CALL <br />Members Present: Ms. Carolyn V. Pfotenhauer, President <br />Mr. Jose Alvarez, Secretary <br />Redevelopment Staff: Mrs. Ann E. Kolata, Director <br />Mrs. Jenny Hullinger, Recording Secretary <br />Mr. Brian Steinke, Attorney <br />2. APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br />Upon a motion by Jose Alvarez, seconded by Carolyn Pfotenhauer, and unanimously <br />• carried, the Authority approved the Minutes of the Rescheduled Regular Meeting of July <br />28, 1999. <br />3. New Business <br />a. Authority approval requested for Investment Authorization for funds associated with <br />the Century Center bond issue. <br />b. Authority approval requested for Investment Authorization for funds associated with <br />the Hall of Fame bond issue. <br />Mrs. Kolata stated that Norwest Bank has already invested funds associated with <br />the Century Center and Hall of Fame bond issues by purchasing Treasury Bills. <br />They are requesting written acknowledgment of their purchase. Mrs. Kolata <br />asked if the Authority would like to authorize someone to sign the <br />acknowledgments each time they come because our Trust Agreement with them <br />outlines the types of investments they can make. Mr. Alvarez asked if the bond <br />investments were in accord with the Trust Agreement. Mrs. Kolata said that their <br />investment was in accord with the Agreement.
