These funds would be used to support two members of the Neighbor- <br />hood-Clean-Up Crew. <br />As you know, this isa new program recently established by the City to <br />impact and improve its neighborhoods. Because it is the intent of the Division <br />of Community Development to address specific needs within the Community <br />Development Neighborhood Strategy Areas, we propose to fund two members of <br />the crew to be assigned solely to CD NSA's. The crew members will clean <br />publicly and privately -owned properties in an effort to stem deterioriation <br />as a result of identified existing unsightly properties. Any monies recouped <br />from citizens charged for the services, shall be returned to the Community <br />Development fund. <br />The following budget will be required to support the two crew members <br />from approximately August 1, 1980, through December 31, 1980. <br />Description Amount <br />Salaries and Wages, hourly $11,124.00 <br />1 Equipment Operator I @$5.30 /hr. <br />1 General Labor @$5.00 /hr. <br />Social Security 682.00 <br />P.E.R.F. 670.00 <br />Group Insurance 694.00 <br />Equipment Repair 150.00 <br />Other Equipment 500.00 <br />Other Supplies 180.00 <br />TOTAL $14,000.00 <br />
