• stated that the building would be made of architectural concrete, and will meet <br />the covenants for the area. The Redevelopment staff is requiring additional <br />windows and landscaping. <br />The Redevelopment staff would like to oversee and approve. Crescent's <br />landscaping design. Crescent's plan is to have a double row of plantings on the <br />south side of the building: birch trees against the building and then berm with <br />evergreens on the other side of the service drive to separate their building from the <br />next property. <br />Ms. Pfotenhauer asked if the lack of windows is related to the building's use. <br />Mrs. Kolata replied that use, security, heating and cooling costs, as well as <br />operational costs were factors in determining how many windows to put in. <br />Associates operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. <br />Upon a motion by Andre Gammage, seconded by Jose Alvarez and unanimously <br />carried, the Authority approved the Deed of Dedication for Crescent Circle. <br />Upon a motion by Andre Gammage, seconded by Jose Alvarez and unanimously <br />carried, the Authority approved Resolution No. 126 to transfer the property of <br />Lots lA and 1B of the Crescent plan to the South Bend Redevelopment <br />Commission. <br />• <br />4b. Authority approval requested for Deed of Dedication for Mayflower Court. <br />Mrs. Kolata stated that the original plan for Mayflower Court cul de sac has had to <br />be changed. It will be moved south 100 feet. This Deed of Dedication will <br />transfer the land to the Board of Public Works, who will then construct <br />Mayflower Court on the newly designated right of way.. <br />Upon a motion by Andre Gammage, seconded by Jose Alvarez and unanimously <br />carried, the Authority approved the Deed of Dedication for Mayflower Court. <br />4c. Authority approval requested for Morris Civic Minor Subdivision. <br />Mrs. Kolata stated that the Authority needed to sign the replat for the Morris <br />property in order to include property that the Morris Performing Arts Center is <br />expanding. on to. The expansion of the Morris Performing Arts Center necessitates <br />a replatting of the parking lot behind it for proper ownership and easements. <br />Upon a motion. by Andre Gammage, seconded by Jose Alvarez and unanimously <br />carried the Authority approved the replat of the Morris Civic Minor Subdivision. <br />• H:\WPDATA\AUTHORTY\061598.MIN <br />
