Progress Meetings with CLIENT <br />1. Progress meetings will be scheduled on a monthly basis throughout the duration of the Project. <br />DLZ assumes that 5 (five) progress meetings will be held. <br />a. DLZ will develop the agenda for each progress meeting and will complete and distribute <br />the meeting minutes. <br />2. DLZ will request specific meetings with the CLIENT’s staff to discuss various project specific <br />elements. These meetings will be scheduled periodically throughout the duration of the <br />Project. <br />a. DLZ will develop the agenda for each meeting held to discuss project specific elements and <br />will complete and distribute the meeting minutes. <br /> <br />TASK 2 – SUBSURFACE UTILITY ENGINEERING <br /> <br />A. Geophysical Surface Utility Designating – ASCE Quality Level B (QLB) <br />1. Within the designated Subsurface Utility Engineering Limits (Exhibit B), DLZ will subcontract <br />with a Utility locating firm to provide surface markings in accordance with Quality Level B as <br />defined by CI/ASCE 38-02 “Standard Guideline for the Collection and Depiction of Existing <br />Subsurface Utility Data”. The surface markings will be surveyed and incorporated into the <br />overall base map. <br />2. Underground utilities and other appurtenances will be identified and mapped based on <br />evidence gathered from various sources and exact utility locations are not confirmed unless <br />visually exposed and surveyed, and then only at those specific exposed locations. DLZ and its <br />subconsultant cannot guarantee that all utilities can or will be identified, detected, or precisely <br />mapped. <br /> <br />TASK 3 – TOPOGRAPHIC SURVEY SERVICES <br /> <br />A. Ground Survey <br />1. Within the limits designated, DLZ will perform survey using on-the-ground techniques. Data <br />will include: <br />a. Horizontal and vertical control throughout the project limits. Horizontal control will be <br />based on the Indiana Coordinate System of 1983, East zone (NAD83). Vertical control will <br />be based on the North American Vertical Datum of 1988 (NAVD88).
