<br /> <br /> <br />Proposal for Environmental & Site-Civil <br />Engineering on the Former <br />Drewry’s Brewery Parcel <br />Page 2 of 19 <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Satisfactory soils will be imported and used to fill the existing voids created from the removal of the foundation <br />walls, footers, utilities, and other site improvements. The satisfactory soils will be placed in lifts and <br />compacted. The Project site will be graded to match the existing grades at the demolition limits. Final site <br />restoration of the Project Site will consist of the placement of topsoil and the establishment of satisfactory <br />lawn in accordance with the Construction Stormwater General Permit. The site grading will be developed to <br />contain stormwater on-site using surface drainage. The design and construction of new stormwater <br />infrastructure or an irrigation system at the Project site will not be included as part of the Project. <br />SCOPE OF SERVICES <br />The CLIENT has requested that DLZ provide professional services associated with decommissioning planning <br />and investigative services for the demolition, the development of a budgetary Project cost, the development <br />of demolition bid documents, and demolition phase services. DLZ will provide the services of qualified <br />engineers and support staff to complete the various tasks outlined within this scope of services. Coordination, <br />analysis, and design will be performed in order to develop the design plans and specifications required to <br />complete demolition bid documents. <br /> <br />TASK 1 – PROJECT ADMINISTRATION AND COORDINATION <br /> <br />A. Project Team Communication <br />1. The procedures and protocol for the project team communication will be established at the <br />Project Kick-off Meeting. The CLIENT, the CLIENT’s committee, and other stakeholders will be <br />identified. Additional stakeholders will be included based on their involvement in the project. <br />2. A distribution list will be developed for routine project correspondence by telephone and <br />email. <br />3. Regularly scheduled progress meetings will be held throughout the duration of the project. <br />The status of the project schedule and budget will be discussed. <br />4. The objective is to create a communication plan that facilitates the efficient transfer of <br />information between the Project team and all stakeholders. <br /> <br />B. Project Kick-off Meeting <br />1. An initial meeting will be held at the CLIENT’s office with persons designated by the CLIENT <br />and DLZ. The objective of this meeting will be to introduce those persons who will have <br />principal responsibilities on this Project; and to review in general the obligations of DLZ and <br />the CLIENT under this Proposal; including the schedule of work, identify Project priorities and
