Demolition will start with fence removal and disposal which will allow for <br />access to the existing courts. We plan to mill the existing asphalt courts full depth to <br />the existing base aggregate system and sawcut and remove sidewalk to the extent <br />shown on the Owner selected Division of work (A, B, or C). The existing tennis court <br />net posts and anchors will be removed and disposed of. If Division A is selected, a <br />complete PT concrete court system will be installed using our internal workforce. The <br />PT concrete court system, including fencing and gates in ribbon curb, court surfacing <br />and striping, and equipment will meet all plans and specifications. All sidewalk will be <br />replaced as proposed in the plans and specifications. If Division B is selected, a <br />complete PT concrete court system and HMA court system will be completed per plans <br />and specifications. If Division B is selected, Byrne and Jones will plan to partner with a <br />local paving subcontractor to complete the HMA portion of the work. All sidewalk will <br />be replaced as proposed in the plans and specifications. If Division C is selected a <br />complete HMA court system will be completed per plans and specifications with a <br />local paving subcontractor. All sidewalk will be replaced as proposed in the plans and <br />specifications. Byrne and Jones will supply labor, material, and equipment to compete <br />the work by the September 22, 2025 completion date. <br />b. Additional Qualifications <br />i. Starting in 1976, B&J has completed over 600 running tracks, 500 athletic fields, and 250 courts. <br />ii. Byrne & Jones is a member of the American Sports Builders Association (ASBA) since 2009 <br />iii. Byrne & Jones has SEVEN ASBA Certified Synthetic Turf Field Builders on Staff (CFB-S) <br />iv. Byrne & Jones has ONE ASBA Certified Field Builders on Staff (CFB) <br />v. Byrne & Jones has THREE ASBA Certified Track Builders on Staff (CTB) <br />vi. Byrne & Jones has been honored with SIXTEEN ASBA Excellence Awards <br />2. Attach a listing of the names and addresses of all subcontractors (i.e. persons or firms outside <br />your own firm who have performed part of the work) that you have used on public works <br />projects during the past five (5) years along with a brief description of the work done by each <br />subcontractor. <br />a. Byrne & Jones works with multiple subcontractors in multiple regions. A final <br />proposed subcontractor list will be provided upon project award. <br />3.
