PARENT, Mayor
COUNTY -CITY BUILDING SOUTH BEND, INDIANA _46601
September 10, 1980
the Common Council
County -City Building
Indiana 46601
Dear Members of the Council:
219/284 -9742
The attached bill would appropriate $250,000.00 from General
Revenue Sharing funds for the purchase of gasoline for the
remainder of 1980.
This amount has been set aside since the beginning of the
year in anticipation of the shortfall in budgeted gasoline
expenses. Originally $278,000.00 was appropriated in the
1980 budget, and this additional amount from Revenue Sharing
will be sufficient to bring us to the end of the year.
If I can provide further information, I am available at the
convenience of the Council.
Thank you.
Sincerely
o s eph E.
