ORDINANCE NO. f08S q— AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $250,000.00 FROM THE FEDERAL ASSISTANCE GRANT, COMMONLY REFERRED TO AS GENERAL REVENUE SHARING FOR THE PURCHASE OF GASOLINE, TO BE ADMINISTERED BY THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, THROUGH ITS DEPARTMENT OF ADMINISTRATION AND FINANCE. STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT: Additional funds are needed to administer certain programs and to ensure the City's ability to properly perform its functions during the year 1980. Without these funds, the City would have to curtail certain programs. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, AS FOLLOWS: SECTION I. The sum of $250,000.00 is. hereby appropriated for the year 1980 from the Federal Assistance Grant Fund, commonly known as the General Revenue Sharing Trust Fund. This appro- priation is to be administered by the Department of Administration and Finance as set forth below: PROGRAM FA 213 GASOLINE ACCOUNT DESCRIPTION AMOUNT 321.0 Gasoline $250,000.00 TOTAL FA 213 $250,000.00 SECTION II. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage by the Common Council, approval by the Mayor, and the fulfillment of all statutory requirements for emergency appropriations.
