She indicated the petitioner was going to contact residents <br />on the other half of the alley and request the entire alley be closed. She <br />indicated this would stop the flow of traffic and enable garages to be built so they <br />would face toward the houses now away from them. Council Member Serge made a motion <br />to recommend this bill to the Council favorably, as amended, seconded by Council <br />Member Braboy. The motion carried. <br />BILL NO. 107 -87 A BILL APPROPRIATING $11,950.00 FROM THE MORRIS CIVIC AUDITORIUM <br />IMPROVEMENT FUND FOR PURCHASE OF REPAIRS AND IMPROVEMENT AT THE <br />MORRIS CIVIC AUDITORIUM. <br />This being the time heretofore set for public hearing on the above bill, proponents <br />and opponents were given an opportunity to be heard. Dale Balsbaugh, Director of <br />the Morris Civic, made the presentation for the bill. He indicated this <br />appropriation would be used for electrical work, replacement of seat covers, and <br />roof repair. Council Member Barcome made a motion to recommend this bill to the <br />Council favorably, seconded by Council Member Zakrzewski.
